Depending on where you live in the country will obviously determine which route you take down to our gite. We travel via Plymouth-Roscoff on the ferry. There are various times of the day you can travel. If our son is with us, we tend to set off fairly early so that we can do the whole journey in a day. The roads in France are fairly good, so once you get used to driving on the right-hand side of the road, you shouldn't have too much of a problem.
